young hearts
Young Elias lives in the Dutch countryside, in a close-knit and ordinary family, except for his father, a semi-famous and narcissistic pop singer. When Alexander moves in across the street, the 14-year-old boy seems fascinated. Slowly, he befriends him. Then, his feelings turn into love.
This simple story combines a unique naturalness, the usual tragic obstacles are overcome, and shivers and tears of happiness set in… We had to wait until this year to see a positive film, which enthused hordes of teenagers (and adults!) at the last Berlin festival.
