PITCHING : pitch pleazz !

Queer Future Cinema is a programme specifically designed for emerging LGBTQI+ screenwriters in Switzerland. 

Although a diversity of queer protagonists appear on screen, their existence remains marginal, sometimes treated clumsily or relegated to the background. A pioneering project in Switzerland, Queer Future Cinema was therefore created by BØWIE to encourage queer people to build their own narratives. It aims to amplify queer voices by equipping participants with the tools to shape the future of storytelling in the film industry: through mentoring sessions, workshops and a writing residency, each screenwriter prepared for five months to develop their project. 

These scenarios in the making are revealed during this exceptional pitching session: presenting powerful syntheses of queer stories for tomorrow’s screens.
