Dylan, a 21-year-old laborer in New Mexico, faced with his mother’s irresponsibility, must take care of his younger brother. Dreaming of acquiring a van and exploring new horizons, he accepts a new job at the “House of Splendor”. On this remote ranch, the cowboys are queer, work with kindness and participate in rodeos on the weekends.
In the heart of these vast expanses of warm colors, Dylan lets himself be adopted by this prosperous and fluid community. A vibrant and sensual subculture, where serenity and tenderness could inspire one to believe in a certain American dream, queer… Utopia?
